Project Description:
Urban Amanat, located in the heart of the neighborhood of Gulshan Avenue, is a 10 storied residential building. With maximum ground coverage of 390 sq. m. (approx.) it houses 18 apartment units with parking facility, community area and garden. Apart from the communal garden, each resident has their own mini garden with the front balcony. The vertical screen at the front façade is not only a shading device but also a support for creepers growing in those indoor gardens.

Since this is a south-facing site, a portion of the building was designed to be lifted behind to create an open area on the southern east corner. This provides for ideal ventilation to both units. The communal spaces of each unit are located in the direction of the southeast corner. This offers greater thorough ventilation across the whole unit layout.
